Abstract

You are in Resources — where you run homework at home and open the book or paper a replay or Atlas note named. Most weeks you need only one block below; use the table of contents to jump, not to read everything.

If you only have five minutes

  1. HomeworkDIY below (Playcard → Prompt → Form).
  2. ReplayWeekly sessions, not this page.
  3. One cite — open the single Book or Research note Atlas or doctrine named; skip the rest of this lobby.

Run something this week (DIY)

When doctrine gives you homework, run it in this order:

When the room names intention versus Battle, the move that lands is usually a Playcard the same evening — not a full shelf browse.

Prep Pulse

Before live sessions you may get a personalised prep email with your Battle, victories, and links to forms. Use it to land on the right Playcard or Form — you do not have to hunt from this lobby every Monday.

Apps

You already touch this kit in training — voice capture, spaced recall, rituals. Each App note opens with > [!quote] Apps only (no grey info badge). Browse Apps in the sidebar; when Morning Voice sends you to dictation, start with Wispr Flow.

Books

Each file is one volume — read over days, not in one sitting. Do not cold-browse the whole folder; use a map:

Five-pillar science spine — open Behavioral change canon, then the pillar table below.

Being vs bodyBeing vs doingFocusing · Waking the Tiger.

Resolve · prep voiceJim Rohn7 Strategies for Wealth & Happiness.

Named in a replay — open only that volume. Everything else in Books waits in the sidebar until a session or Atlas note names it.

Why Research exists

When you read Atlas, you get neutral library language. When you sit with Books, you give a volume weeks. When you open Research, you are looking at one peer-reviewed paper — usually because an Atlas note cited it under ## Sources and you want the DOI spine behind the claim.

You do not browse Research like a reading list. You land here when:

  • a wikilink from Atlas Sources opens a paper title for you
  • a replay or doctrine note sends you to the study behind what you heard in the room
  • you want to know what was actually tested before you reuse a cite in your Battle or with the group

Your trade books stay in Books. Room narrative stays in 20_Sessions. Your lines stay in 30_Members → Practices.

How to read a Research note

Each note opens with the grey Research anchor badge. Read top to bottom:

SectionYour job
Abstract + DOI lineWhat the paper established — and the link if you need the original
Key findingsPlain-language bullets — what the study showed
LimitsScope check — sample, method, era. Where the paper stops so you do not over-generalise
Application(When present) One When you… move — only when it adds a try the bullets do not already carry
Adjacent(When present) Related papers or books — optional trail, not required

Limits is not there to discourage you. It keeps you honest when you borrow science — what you can say with this cite, and what needs another study.

Example path you can copy: Dopamine baselineSchultz 2016 — mechanismNutt 2015 — scope limits.

Research trails (curated)

These are short trails for you — two to four stops. When you want Atlas depth, follow ## Sources on the note that sent you.

Motivation · prediction error

  1. Schultz 2016 — prediction error (mechanism)
  2. Nutt 2015 — scope limits

Then open Dopamine baseline if you want the map behind both.

Self-support · narrative and regulation

Atlas maps: Self-support · Self-censorship · Storytelling.

Ambition · agency · goals

Atlas maps: Ambition · Agency · Daring.

Affect · realism (from the 29 Jun room)

Atlas maps: Realistic · Affect primacy. Room context: 2026-06-29.

More papers live in Research — open them only when a wikilink names them for you.

Authors

When you need to know who wrote a book or paper, open Authors in the sidebar — one thin register note per writer, linked from each Book and Research note. A useful trail: Being vs doing.

Quotes (daily spark)

One note per line — each opens with [!quote]. Open the Quotes folder in the sidebar when you want a spark before training, not a homework block.

Talks (stage install)

Curated TED · TEDx — you watch inside the note (embed in-page).

Movies and Documentary

True-story only — scenes or docs you can cite as personal-development examples in session (not fiction). Example: RAFA. Browse Movies or Documentary in the sidebar when a replay names a scene for you.

Your move

Open one shelf that matches what your replay or Dashboard already named — a Playcard if you are running homework, Research if Atlas Sources sent you, Books if a volume earned a sit-down read. If nothing is named yet, go back to Dashboard or the latest Weekly replay. When the Codex ships a big update, start from Last Update archive. Zone lobbies: Doctrine · Atlas · Maps.
