Working definition
You can engage fully and release cleanly, push and rest, maintain an old identity habit and abandon it — maturity is choosing the pole on purpose, not being dragged by the habit that arranges you.
How it works
Most stuck patterns are not one-sided — they serve you (comfort, recognition, variety) while they disserve your stated goal. The master move is not killing the “bad” pole; it is seeing both, then electing which pole this week’s Battle needs.

What arranges also disserves — Yann’s live line — is the hinge: you see the pole that served you before you kill it.
More room passes mention this doctrine in replay narrative — search the Codex for Master of Opposites or start from the latest entry on Weekly Sessions.

Spatial split — autopilot (one pole drags) versus master (force and release in the same body — choose the pole). Your move: Your move this week.
Your move this week
This week’s micro-action (24–72 hours):
- Name one habit that arranges the old you — one sentence, no moral language.
- Write the opposite pole you will try once before Friday.
- State which pole this week’s Battle Of the Week requires — engage or release.
- Run the chosen pole once on calendar with a start time.
- Log one line: which pole you picked and what evidence would prove it happened.
