Working definition

Business is a spiritual game — results follow the psychology and character traits you are willing to inhabit; money, contracts, and delivery train the soul with a scoreboard, not only a tactics stack.

How it works

When you treat business as pure technique — funnels, scripts, offer polish — you miss the load-bearing layer. Roughly eighty percent of what moves (or freezes) is psychology: the standards of your current identity, the traits you condemn, the obligations you will and will not carry. That is the spiritual game — not mysticism as escape, but character under commercial pressure.

If you refuse to be at ease with a trait you judge (not paying, not delivering, being “too much”), you will flee any arena where that trait appears — including healthy sales and delivery. Master of Opposites trains amplitude: you can inhabit the trait without organising your life to express it. Mithridatisation comes from prolonged, conscious contact with what you rejected. Until then, saboteur and flight protect the old identity’s rules — and the silk fibers multiply.

Use definitions as gear: what success, performance, obligation, and enough mean for you. Feed them into your self-dossier (including AI projects) so the game gets clearer week by week.

Signature

The phrase lands as a reframe in the room: business is a spiritual game — psychology first, then the P&L. The story that installs it is meeting a character at ease with a trait you refuse — legal strategy, ethical nausea, and years of training your own amplitude.

Room: 2026-08-03.

Spatial split — tactics only (polish · scripts · freeze when the trait appears) versus spiritual game (inhabit the trait under the P&L scoreboard). Your move: Your move this week.

Your move this week

  1. Write one line: In my business, the spiritual game shows up when ___.
  2. Name one condemned trait that still creates friction in sales or delivery.
  3. Optional: add definitions (success · obligation · performance) to your Markdown self-dossier.

Commercial pressure exposes fear-of-failure cues across the venture process and actual–ideal–ought gaps — the “spiritual” layer is character and standards under scoreboard pressure, not tactics alone.
