Working definition
Battle wire is the morning link between anticipation and Battle Of the Week: you name which situation will be hard today so the day’s friction becomes deliberate practice, not surprise.
How it works
Morning Journal asks the hard-situation question. If the answer is blank, you have not prepared the training target — preparation failed before noon.
The wire is not a new weekly Battle every morning. It is the today slice of the Battle you already named: the meeting, the craving, the silence, the scroll. Pair with today’s implement (micro dosing of deliberate practice).
Example
You set a Battle on focus for the week, then open the day with no hard-situation line. Inbox chooses the training for you. That is B2 miss — anticipation without the wire.
Signature
Name the hard situation · or admit you left the day to chance.

Random day leaves training to the inbox; wired day names today’s hard situation and routes it to Battle. Your move: Your move this week.
Your move this week
Before inbox tomorrow: one line — today’s hard situation is ___.
