Working definition
A recovery system is the deliberate reset stack (walk, nothing-block, sleep, cold — whatever is yours) without which training empties the tank.
How it works
Elite athlete frame: training without recovery is incomplete. Social 12h theatre is not the score — your Life Performance includes recovery as a designed element.
Example
You cleared tomorrow morning for deep work, then stayed on screen until midnight “just answering one more client.” At 10 p.m. the body is spent and the list still unfinished — recovery never made the calendar because social performance said rest is laziness. The morning window vanishes; you call it motivation failure. That is B3 miss — schedule the nothing-block before the late screen, or the Battle never gets an honest run.
Signature
Monday nothing-block · forest · car >20 min — clarify your system and put it on the calendar.
Your move this week
Schedule one protected recovery/nothing block this week and write one sentence: my performance = ….

Recovery is not optional downtime — psychological detachment restores capacity so training does not empty the tank.
