Working definition

The Club gives frames; you own the dictionary entry — three sentences plus signals, not a poster quote.

How it works

Generic mindfulness language fails calibration. Each member writes definition + indicators for states that matter (serenity, reliability, safety). Stored in Morning Voice and Manual Of Me so future sessions do not renegotiate the word from zero. The secret of personal data names the lever: those entries are the measurable data — not poster quotes.

Signature

The image is your dictionary entry — not the poster on the wall — Yann’s Sicily opener on 2026-05-18: granular interoception plus personal definitions, not borrowed serenity.

The WOW: generic mindfulness language fails calibration; three sentences plus body indicators beat a word everyone in the room nods at and no one can feel.

Clarity is power

Naming exactly what you feel and want is what makes a state — or an adversity — trainable and shareable. The vague word keeps the fear fused; the precise definition turns it into something you can practise, measure, and screen-share to someone else.
More room passes mention this doctrine in replay narrative — search the Codex for Personal Definitions or start from the latest entry on Weekly Sessions.

Borrowed poster versus your dictionary entry — definition plus body indicators. Your move: Your move this week.

Your move this week

This week’s micro-action (24–72 hours):

  1. Pick one word you overuse (serenity, reliability, strategy).
  2. Write a three-sentence definition in your words — no borrowed quotes.
  3. Add three body indicators that tell you the state is present.
  4. Store the entry where you will reread it before the next session.
  5. Read it aloud once — if it sounds like a book, rewrite until it sounds like Tuesday.
