Definition
Personal values are the priorities you treat as non-negotiable when deciding whether a commitment fits — not slogans, but sort keys for yes and no.
Mechanism
Motivation coaching loops run: does this serve my values, my vision, my dreams, the person I want to be? Values work from event journaling or l’IA reads can feed capture forms so engagement filters stay sensorial, not abstract.
Values form a circular motivational continuum — trade-offs among priorities, not a flat checklist — and predict choice better when measured as hierarchies than as slogans.
Applications
Before amplifying outreach or accepting optional work, run the values pass — especially when People-pleasing pulls toward automatic yes.
