A BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is a long-horizon ambition bold enough to sort daily yeses — dreams and direction, not every calendar invite.
Mechanism
Engagement filters ask: does this commitment serve Personal values, Vivid Vision, and the person you are becoming — including BHAG-scale dreams? Prevents people-pleasing yeses that dilute the horizon.
BHAG is a management-strategy construct — vivid horizon ambition that sorts commitments — not a clinical or personality construct with peer-reviewed operational measures.
Applications
Use in Tally or Manual loops before over-committing. Pair with People-pleasing when the yes is warm but misaligned.
