Reach for the lamp as a no-vote morning cue — light starts the rail so you do not invent the start.
A light-therapy lamp (bright white / daylight-spectrum panel) is physical gear, not software: place it in the morning seat, start it when the phone approaches, run a short fixed window (on the order of ten to fifteen minutes), then begin. It is part of Preservation of Constant Focus Energy — the charge stays in the body while the brain skips the “should I start?” negotiation.
How members use this
- Pair with a fixed seat (sofa / desk) and a timed slot — lamp + minutes = one constraint, not a mood.
- Use when jet lag, dark mornings, or decision fatigue make the first hour expensive (Decision Fatigue).
- Do not stack ten morning tools — one lamp + one duration beats a ritual menu.
- Capture the mechanism after if useful (Voicenotes); the lamp itself is the start cue.
