Excellence is seductive: it pays, it is praised, it feels like success. The operating risk is that excellence becomes a hiding place from the vulnerability of genius-level specificity.
How to use your Excellence page
Dated lines live under Your Zone of Excellence on your Four Zones page in your Manual Of Me. Run the Four Zones to add one; do not type into the page by hand. Log every activity that pays well and builds reputation but costs more energy than Genius-level work.
When an entry stabilises, ask: what would delegation or redesign toward Zone of Genius cost me in ego, cash, or tempo?
